This watercolor grew from an inspiration from memory. I tried to capture early morning of a large city on the water. A view from the ferry. The fog gently rolling and creating a texture on the buildings. Lights coming on in the shops as the sun rises thru the fog. Wake up city it’s time to go to work. Transparent and solid colors applied with brush and knife creates the mood I was hoping to illustrate.
